Swindell, Boat, Darland and others use Super Shox for the 2013 Chili Bowl. Congratulations to Kevin and Sammy Swindell on another Chili Bowl 1-2 finish with Kevin scoring his fourth consecutive win in a event that 3 years ago was thought to be nearly impossible to win back to back!

The week started with Kevin winning the Vacuworx International Race of Champions and Sammy finishing third and Chad Boat fifth. The Wednesday feature went to Sammy who lead flag to flag after racing from 5th to 2nd in his heat and winning the qualifier from 6th. The Thursday feature went to Kevin leading every lap and made it a clean sweep by winning his heat from 5th and qualifier from 6th. The Friday feature was all Chad Boat leading every lap after running from 9th to 3rd in his heat and 6th to 1st in the qualifier. Dave Darland finished third in the Friday main after a run from 5th to 2nd in his heat and 4th to 2nd in his qualifier.

Kevin capped off a perfect week winning every time he was on the track while Sammy finished second and Dave Darland came from 11th to 5th to make it 3 of the top 5 with Super Shox. By the end of Saturdays feature a car with Super Shox lead 124 of the 155 A-Feature laps run during the week long event.

Troy Rutherford and Tim Barber each won B-Features on their qualifying nights as well.

Super Shox have given these drivers an advantage with more grip and forward drive that has allowed them to get a balanced set up on the car. The car is stable, consistent and predictable with Super Shox which builds driver confidence and allows the crew to fine tune the set up. The Super Shox adjusters are smooth and offer the right amount of change to keep up with the changing track conditions which allows the cars to stay fast for all 55 laps!

Super Shox has come up with another first for the Sprint Car and Midget market with a Shock Lease! That's right for a fraction of the cost of a set of shocks a racer can have the same shocks that Sammy Swindell used to win 16 races in 2012 and an unprecedented 1-2 Chili Bowl finish for Kevin and Sammy with Kevin winning what once was unthinkable a 3rd consecutive victory in racing's toughest event.

The shock lease is an affordable option to purchasing and comes with some great benefits such as a damage cap that keeps repair cost down and allows the racer to have a new set of shocks every year without the cost of off season maintenance. The big advantage is it leaves room in the race team budget for other needed expenses.

Super Shox has been on the leading edge of shock products for the Sprint Car and Midget market since 1997 with mono-tube gas shocks for racing's lightest and fastest cars to the remote double adjustable shocks and great value added benefits such as a lifetime valving guarantee and shock manuals loaded with valuable information including dyno sheets for each shock.

2012 was a fantastic year with big wins and championships such as Bill Balog winning 18 IRA races in route to his fifth consecutive championship and Wayne Johnson winning 15 races to finish second in ASCS points, Dave Darland won 12 races in Jeff Walker's sprint car to finish second in USAC points just to mention a few. Super Shox Chili Bowl Rental Program

With the Swindell team winning the past 4 Chili Bowl finals using Super Shox there obviously is an advantage that they have found with the purple shocks. There is no question that Sammy and Kevin are two amazing drivers but that in its self is still not enough to win in Tulsa. It still requires being able to stay out of trouble and a car set up that is spot on. To get spot on it takes a quality shock package to get a good base set up then adjust ability to get the car to suit the tracks changing conditions and drivers preference and that is where Super Shox have delivered the winning edge for the Swindell's.

Super Shox can be your advantage too! If you want to get a set of Super Shox for the Chili Bowl there is now a rental program where you can get the same shock advantage as the Swindell's. It's a great way for teams to get the most current shock package and all the benefits of the Super Shox program at a fraction of the price! Worried about crash damage? We have that covered too with a cap so your exposure is limited! If you want to buy the set after the race we will give you a credit off the retail price.

January 14th 2012

In 2011 Kevin Swindell did what no other drive had been able to do in the 25 year history of the Chili Bowl, win it two consecutive years in a row. With the amount of talented drivers and top level cars in a event that last for 5 days to come out as a winner even once is quite an accomplishment. To win it twice in a career is rare but to win it for the 3rd consecutive time like Kevin Swindell has done is simply amazing and a 4th consecutive win for Swindell motorsports leaves no doubt that the Swindell's have dominated the Chili Bowl not only with Saturday night wins but also with top podium finishes as Sammy has been on the podium with a win in 2009 and a third in 2010 and second in both 2011 and 2012. In winning these races and preliminary features the Swindell's have also lead the most laps in the toughest Midget race of the year.

It's obvious that the Swindell's are incredibly talented drivers and their cars have a distinct advantage that many racers are trying to figure out. One of the key ingredients to the Swindell formula is Super Shox!

With the precision vavling and accurate adjustments that Super Shox have the Swindell's can fine tune their cars to run anywhere on the track. With Super Shox in their arsenal Sammy and Kevin have been able to fine tune the rest of the set up on their cars to optimal performance. With the repeatability of Super Shox Sammy and Kevin are able make improvements to get the most out of the cars every time they hit the track.

Until a driver feels the Super Shox difference it's difficult to imagine how much better the car will feel. From the stability and control that Super Shox have the driver feels like the car is in slow motion and they can put the car anywhere they want. Then they feel the grip as the car turns and cuts and drives off the corner much harder than what they are accustomed to, now they have felt the Super Shox difference and are ready to drive deeper and harder than ever before.

Super Shox will make a noticeable difference to the handling of the race car as was proven by the results of the many drivers who won races and championships in 2011 as shown at http://www.supershox.com/winners-using-SuperShox.html

Each year more drivers make the switch to Super Shox so don't delay get on the phone today and call 847-548-SHOX (7496) or log onto www.supershox.com to get your set of Super Shox on the way. You can also stay connected to Super Shox on Facebook and Twitter.

January 11th 2012

When Sammy Swindell straps into a midget and rolls out onto the Tulsa clay for the Chili Bowl all eyes in the building are on him and his car. As the crowd watches Sammy weave thru traffic with ease to write another page in Chili Bowl lore. At the end of the night many comments are echoed thru the building about how stable, consistent and the amount of grip his car has. Many wonder how Sammys cars can drive thru the black while other cars sit and spin. Yes Sammy is one of the most skilled drivers to ever wheel a midget but you can't buy his ability and use it as your own but you can buy one of his most valued parts of his car and that is Super Shox! If your car need more drive and stability you need Super Shox the choice of the winningest driver in Chili Bowl history. For racers looking to step up their game this week in Tulsa take a walk over to the Super Shox trailer next to the Swindell pit and see Brian or Brice to find out how you can bolt on the Super Shox advantage.

ACTION AT SUPERSHOX HEATS UP AS RACING COOLS DOWN TO CLOSE OUT A SPECTACULAR 2011 SEASON

As the leaves changed and temperatures dropped, many racing series across the country put a cap on the 2011 season. Drivers and teams alike will get a short break and reflect on the highs and lows of their racing effort's this past season. Here at Super Shox, we are proud to look back on an exceptional year of racing. This is brought on by our dedication to a quality product, customer support, advancement in shock technology, and most of all our customers who demonstrate the Super Shox product to its utmost potential.

The 2011 Season started with a bang as the purple Super Shox found their way again at the front of what some of the best drivers in the world say is the “toughest race on earth”. The 2011 Chili Bowl was memorable to say the least. The legendary father/son duo of Sammy and Kevin Swindell again put on a memorable and historic race that ended in the closest finish in Chili Bowl history. Kevin (“The Bulldog”) started deep in the field. At around the half way point of the race, it was apparent he was on a mission to get to the front. Kevin used the yellow flag cautions to his advantage by adjusting his Super Shox using the cockpit adjustment knobs to dial his shocks in to the changing Tulsa track. He was “unbeatable” on the restarts. At the final lap it was Kevin crossing the line inches in front of Sammy for his second straight win of the prestigious golden driller trophy. The Swindell family became the first father/son 1-2 finish to back up the 1-3 finish from 2010, and Kevin became the first driver in the history of the event to have back to back wins. Both Cars had the Super Shox SX14 Single Adjustable Shocks on the front and SX 14 Double Adjustable Shocks on the rear.

The success for drivers using Super Shox across the country didn’t stop there as the season progressed from January to June. During the 5 month span, Super Shox racers recorded an impressive 74 wins throughout the world reaching as far out as Australia and New Zealand. These wins came in all disciplines on dirt and pavement including Wing Sprint, Non Wing Sprint, Midget, Mini Sprint and Micro Sprint. As the summer temperatures raised, the Super Shox Feature Win Count followed suit.

In the month of July alone, Super Shox Drivers logged in 40 feature wins. The Super Shox duo of Sammy Swindell and Tyler Walker held an Impressive lead over the rest of the field at the Kings Royal at Eldora. Sammy took the early lead while Tyler hung with him for the duration of the race. The two opened up a sizable lead as the track slicked off, made possible due to the low rod pressure of the SuperShox SX14 Double Adjustable Shocks both cars were equipped with for maximum grip. Once again disaster struck for Sammy in the final corner of the final lap as he blew a tire. Walker flew by to grab the win at the line as Sammy limped across in 2nd with a blown tire.

There were also some great stand out performances for local racers using SuperShox. Bill Balog went on a tear in the 2011 IRA Sprints series. When all was said and done, Bill recorded his 4th consecutive points championship with an impressive 12 feature wins. Ben Schmidt, after making the switch to Super Shox late in 2010 with the Rhine Auto #35 car, had a Great 2011 adding the MSA, EWSC, and Plymouth track Championships to his resume. Sam Borden had back to back 20 win seasons proving him a worthy champion in the Bakersfield Non Wing 600 Micro Series. Todd Lehr finished atop the WIMS (Wisconsin Illinois Mini Sprint) series for the second year in a row. Lehr who often times found himself starting in the last spot on the grid several times put on a spectacular display of driving. His knowledge of tuning his Supershox to best suit his car proved valuable as Todd found his way racing from last to first many times. Todd won 2011 WIMS Championship using two Standard SuperShox in the front, a Single Adjustable LR, and a Double Adjustable RR. The list goes on with Tommy Sexton and the 83D team winning their second consecutive Wilmot points title and a IRA race at Plymouth. In Indiana sprint car action Jeff Walker's car won the Kokomo Speedway Championship with Shane Cottle behind the wheel to back up the 2010 championship for the famous blue #11 that Chris Windom won the title in. Over at Gas City, Brett Burdett had a great year winning the track points title. While Justin Grant often thrilled the crowd with hair raising moves. Both drivers utilized the Super Shox SX14 single adjustable front and double adjustable rear shocks. Jerrod Hull claimed the inaugural Midwest Open Wheel Association Championship after winning the 2010 Midwest Allstar title using Super Shox. Jimmy Stinson claimed two titles in 2011 with the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Series and a track championship at Skyline Speedway. Jim Swain raced his way to the Auto Value Super Sprint title racing on four double adjustable Super Shox with the pavement sprint car series. Our local racers are a prime example that no matter the budget, SuperShox has many options to get you to the winner circle.

In 2011 SuperShox Drivers claimed a total of 22 championships. Some used SX14 Standard Non Adjustable Shox, while others chose the option to closer fine tune their shock package. Some used only the suggested settings provided in the book, while others found what works best for them with their own settings. Some won on Dirt, Some on Pavement. Sprint, Micro, Mini, or Midget they all had one thing in common. The shocks were purple. They were SuperShox.

Our dedication to a quality product is the number one priority to us. With the purchase of SuperShox you are getting more then just shocks. Our Staff is there to help you with any issue big or small. We can help with technical questions from Shocks to chassis setup. We also look forward to the phone call to inform us how you like your new setup. We welcome all feedback, and constantly look for ways to improve our product and the whole Super Shox experience. When you win, we win.

As 2012 approaches we are proud to say we are busier then ever. Our Repair department is busy going through a thorough inspection of each component of customers shocks that have been sent in for year end inspection. The New Assembly Room is prepping shocks for another potential historic Chili Bowl, and also shipping orders to our Australia and New Zealand dealers. Our Machine Shop Division is at full capacity cranking out parts for new shocks and repairs. August 30th 2011

With August and Iowa speed-weeks in the books many cars with Super Shox had a great month. Sammy Swindell was crowned as Mr. Sprint Car for the second year in a row and in the nine nights of Iowa sprint car racing a car with Super Shox won four of those races and a car with Super Shox finished in the top four every night.

As the the season begins to wind down and championships are being decided. There are many cars with Super Shox in the championship hunt as every weekend there are wins and top 3 finishes from Micro sprints to Sprint cars. Bill Balog is atop the IRA points for the third year in a row with 10 wins, Ben Schmidt has locked up the EWSC points and is leading the MSA and Plymouth points, Todd Lehr is leading the WIMS points where a car with Super Shox has won every race this year, Tom Sexton is in a close battle for the point lead at Wilmot in the 410 wing sprints. In USAC Sprint car points Chris Windom is currently second after winning the Indiana Sprint Week Title. Sam Borden is leading the points at Linton with 16 wins in 2011 with his upright non-wing micro sprint. Kevin Swindell is sitting second in Knoxville 410 points and on top of the rookie of the year standings, Jamie Ball is second in 305 points at Knoxville this year and Jerrod Hull is leading the MOWA points just to name a few who have had great seasons running Super Shox.

For a customer searching for a shock package today it can become a confusing and difficult decision to make since every shock company can take claim of winners and present a convincing sales pitch. With today's social media it is easy to get the message out and all of the shock companies are posting wins and top finishes on twitter and facebook. Super Shox is no different in that regard we take great pride in the success of our customers and our product.

When it comes to shocks there is no question that a gas shock is a better method of construction. There are many positives to gas shocks with the biggest one being gas pressure which helps to give the car stability and consistency but there can also be some negatives to that gas pressure such as being too high on a slick track.

When the track looses grip and the car has to mechanically create that grip is where most gas shocks come up short. This is where Super Shox have a edge on the competition and have increased grip on slick tracks. With Super Shox the chassis is able to squat and load the tires to get that grip in the slick.

The Super Shox double adjustable shock can run as low as 1 lbs of rod pressure so that the chassis can make the initial movement to get grip. It's not as easy and just letting the gas out because without gas the shock will have cavitation. It takes a careful balance between valving and gas pressure to get the right balance for maximum grip.

With more and more drivers switching to Super Shox we are getting more and more feed back and every driver feels the stability and control but also comments about increased grip on slick tracks even compared to popular twin tube brand shocks.

Super Shox has a growing list of winners and many satisfied customers and the reason why is a great product that works and exceptional service and support. Every week we are at the track working with our customers to help them get the most from their shocks and to find ways to improve our product.

Driving the 1s Big Game car at Knoxville this season Kevin has been getting dialed in for the Nationals and is currently 4th in the championship cup points after getting his second win at the famed oval in 2011.

Tyler Walker has raced the passed two weeks at Knoxville to get tuned up for the Nationals and has posted two second place finishes. The Keen motorsports team is on top of their game right now after winning the Kings Royal and running strong at Knoxville Tyler is ready to make his run for the 2011 title.

Wayne Johnson driving the Western Dedicated 38 car has also been on top of their game winning ASCS National races and finishing second to Sammy on Friday night and 8th on Saturday the Knoxville based team is looking forward to a productive week on the Iowa dirt.

Super Shox have proven to be an asset to these drivers and many more who have made the switch to Super Shox like Brian Brown who won the heat, dash and feature at Spoon River during Illinois sprint week his first night out and has two heat race wins at Knoxville and a third in the July 30th 410 Knoxville A-Main.

July18th 2011

Congratulations to Tyler Walker and the Jesse Keen Motorsports team on your Kings Royal win.

The race started with the only two cars in the field with Super Shox Sammy Swindell and Tyler Walker on the front row after both had solid qualifying runs and heat race wins. At the green flag as well as every restart Swindell jumped out to the lead with Walker running in the second spot for the entire race until disaster struck again for Sammy when the right rear tire blew out in the fourth corner of the last lap, Tyler was able to get by and take the win as Sammy's lead was enough to get him across the line in second without a right rear tire.

Walker's crew chief Kirk Dewease summed it up best after the race by commenting that "Super Shox are the best shocks available and until you use them you can't understand what a difference they really make". These comments have also be echoed by many other races across the county who use Super Shox. A few weeks ago Randy Sippel tried a set of standard SX14 gas shocks bolting them on after the heat race he worked his way thru the field in the feature to finish in the top five. After the race a fellow competitor asked him so how do you like them shocks? Randy's answer was simple "them shocks should be illegal I would have never believed there would be such a difference". Wayne Johnson has won three races with Super Shox this year and he too has said "I cannot believe the difference the car just sticks and drives these shocks are awesome". Bill Balog who has three consecutive IRA titles and has won seven features this year has said " these shocks are making me look good". While the shocks are good it still takes a good driver and car to win races but Super Shox will improve the handling of your car and enable to the driver and crew to fine tune the set up to get results week in and week out.

In the past year racers with Super Shox have won many races and championships such as Chris Windom's win at the Oval Nationals (fourth win by a car with Super Shox) and his recent Indiana Sprint week title, Kevin Swindell won the Chili Bowl to become the events first back to back winner (third win in a row by a car with Super Shox), Eric Gordon finished second at the Little 500 where he has a record six wins with Super Shox. Sammy Swindell saw his Knoxville Nationals win blow up when a left rear tire let go after leading 47 laps then went on to win the Williams Grove National Open later in the year.

Super Shox have proven to be a huge asset to many race teams, it's not hype or smoke and mirrors just hard work and dedication since 1997 to build the best shock possible with great customer service. At Super Shox we are always looking for ways to improve our product and to give our customers an advantage.

Call 847-548-SHOX (7469) today to set up a free trial and find out for yourself what Swindell, Walker, Balog, Windom, Johnson and Sippel are talking about.

April 4th 2011

Super Shox racers have enjoyed success many times early in the season with Sammy Swindell leading the way with six feature wins including a Chili Bowl preliminary night win and a sprint car win in New Zealand which helped him to win his latest WoO race in Merced California. With the Merced track being very similar to the tracks in NZ Sammy was able to use that experience to his advantage.

Speaking of Swindell's with advantages Jeff got the win at Southern New Mexico Speedway and if not for a blown LR tire at Devils Bowl while looking at the white flag would have had his second win of the season since switching to Super Shox.

Dave Darland got into the winners circle at North Vernon this past week driving Jeff Walkers famous blue #11. Darland shot to the lead from his third starting position with a slide job in turn one and a run around the cushion in turn two to pass for second then another slide job in turn three to take the lead on lap one and the win after 40 laps on the slick Indiana track.

Jeff Walker has been busy down south working on a ASCS wing sprinter for Joe Zerof that made a victory lane stop the first night out at the East Bay King of 360's with Michael Dupy doing the driving.

Mini sprint racers with Super Shox have also been winning races with Casey Shuman filling in for the injured Scott Johnson with a win at Ocala Florida and Kevin Michnowicz winning his first 1200cc race at Perris Auto Speedway.

In Midget racing Kevin Swindell won his second consecutive Chili Bowl (3rd in a row for Swindell Motorsports and Super Shox) while Sammy finished second in a photo finish. Over in Australia Harley Bishop won at Sydney Speedway driving a car built by Steven Graham.

The bottom line is this Super Shox has given these racers an advantage with a shock that makes the car stable and more drivable. The Super Shox double adjustable shock that these racers use is easily tunable to suit driving styles and track conditions which enables the driver to put the car where it needs to be with accuracy and consistency. There simply is no better bang for your buck than Super Shox double adjustable shocks with 8 compression settings and 24 on rebound you can race from the smallest 1/4 mile to the largest 1/2 mile, slick or tacky and be a winner. If your looking for shocks that are spot on consistent night after night and backed by a lifetime valving guarantee look no further.

The Super Shox advantage continues with excellent service and support. When you need tech help to get the most out of your shocks or have a shock in need of repair just give us a call. At Super Shox we design, manufacture, build, sell and service our product so you are always talking to and getting service done by the professionals who know the most about your shocks.

February 18th 2011

Michael Dupuy used the same traction control devise as what Sammy Swindell used last week to race to two wins and a second at Volusia, Super Shox! Starting last in his heat Michael raced to a third place finish aboard the Jaz-Tek 3X car wrenched by Jeff Walker and Jamie Miller. Starting 3rd in the main Michael charged into the lead on lap eight and opened up a sizable advantage to only see it disappear with a yellow flag about the half-way mark of the race. When racing resumed Dupuy once again drove off to a comfortable margin before the next yellow was displayed. Again on the restart Michael was able to open up a safe lead to run the last seven laps to win the opening night of the East Bay 360 Winter-Nationals.

This was Michaels first race with Super Shox and he commented on how stable and consistent the car felt as he was able to run multiple lines and move thru traffic. Michael has felt the same advantages as Sammy Swindell and what you could too with a set of Super Shox on your car. Sammy Swindell used the same four Double Adjustable Super Shox to dominate at Volusia on the slick one night then on the super fast tacky half mile the next night.

Super Shox are CNC machined and hand assembled in Grayslake IL to exact tolerances and specifications and backed by lifetime valving guarantee. Customer service is just as important as a great product and that is why we are a full service shock manufacturer. When racers have tech questions they can get the answers they need with a quick call or if a shock is in need of service it gets sent back to the same place it was engineered, machined and assembled to get restored to original condition.

January 16th 2011

Congratulations to Kevin and Sammy Swindell for yet another great week of midget racing at the Chili Bowl. With Sammy winning the A-Main on his qualifying night and starting on the front row Saturday he was definitely a strong favorite in what many considered to be his best car yet. Kevin started in the 10th spot next to Nick Knepper who was using his rear double adjustable Super Shox that he ran 3rd with in Thursday nights A-Main. Nick had moved his way up to the 4th spot when a spin on lap 41 by the third place car collected him and caused front end damage that ended his night early in what could have been a top 3 finish for Knepper and a podium sweep for Super Shox. With Sammy taking the lead on lap 13 and Nick charging his way to the front Kevin fell back a few spots and waited for the track to come in before making his move. Once he got going he really took off and executed a perfect pass to take the lead from Sammy on lap 40 and was able to stay out front for the final 10 laps and thru two more cautions to win by a thin margin of .080 seconds. Both Swindell's used their Super Shox to their advantage during yellow flag laps and were able to make shock adjustments to keep up with changing track conditions and it showed.

Super Shox were well represented during Chili Bowl week with strong runs by Andrew Deal, Mike Hess, Shane Cockrum, Joey Moughan, Brett Anderson and Bobby Michnowicz who commented after the race that this was the best car he has ever had at the Chili Bowl but his worst finish due to bad luck and side by side racing that made passing difficult. In addition to these racers there were many more with Super Shox who commented that their cars were working great but ended up on the wrong end of Chili Bowl luck with crashes or mechanical issues.

With the third consecutive Chili Bowl win by a car with Super Shox and many other strong runs during the course of the week it just shows the advantage Super Shox gives to it's racers with a high quality product and excellent customer service along with technical support. A new added benefit for Super Shox racers was the mobile service center at the track during Chili Bowl week. This mobile service center will be used at many events during the 2011 season to better serve our customers and keep them out front winning races.

To learn more about Super Shox log on to www.supershox.com or give us a call at 847-548-SHOX (7469). You can also find us on Facebook or contact us by e-mail at info@supershox.com. There is a reason why the Swindell's and all the others choose to race with Super Shox!

December 29th, 2010

Sammy Swindell is picking up right where Craig Dollansky left off in the Salter Motorsport car in New Zealand by winning races. Craig raced to two wins and a third place finish when he was there now Sammy has won two in a row after running third his first night out. Definitely one of New Zealand's top young racers Ryan O'Connor has also been running very strong as a Salter team mate to Sammy and Craig by winning the race at Baypark a few weeks back and running second a couple of times, once in front of Dollansky and once in front of Swindell. The Salter's team is now heading into a busy time with 6 more races in 8 days and Sammy is set to run a midget at Western Springs on the 5th of January for the 50 lap feature, then it's back home to run the Chili Bowl.

Sammy chooses to run Super Shox because they give him an advantage and that same advantage is what all of our customers have. Super Shox continue to develop valvings and improve the performance of our product by constantly working with racers like Sammy to keep our customers in the winners circle. With winners in dirt and pavement sprint cars, midgets and micros Super Shox has a solution for your shock needs. November 9th, 2010

That makes it 4 Oval National wins for Super Shox in the past 6 years. Chris Windom won this one driving the Jeff Walker sprint car marking his third Oval Nationals as a car owner. The first two came in 2005 and 2006 with Dave Darland doing the driving and all of them came with Super Shox on the famous blue 11. Jesse Hocket was driving the McMillen Motorsprts entry in 2008 when he won with Super Shox after starting 19th and passing for the lead with 3 to go.

The Walker / Windom combination has been very successful again in 2010 with 9 wins and 14 second place finishes this year and a Kokomo Championship. As 2010 winds down the team is excited to start the 2011 season and work to make those 14 second place runs into wins.

2010 has been another big year for Super Shox racers with wins coming at many big events such as the Chili Bowl where Kevin Swindell won to make it back to back wins for the Swindell family and Super Shox, Eric Gordon won his sixth Little 500 with Super Shox, Sammy Swindell has won 11 races and ran second in the 360 Nationals. Then to back up his 2009 win at Oskaloosa he won it again in a race that was dominated by the Super Shox cars of Tyler Walker and Sammy Swindell who likely would have won the Knoxville Nationals if not for the left rear tire explosion. Sammy followed that up with a win at the prestigious Williams Grove National Open in very convincing fashion. Tim Keading has won 9 races in California including the Johnny Key Classic. Back in the Midwest Jerrod Hull has 8 feature wins to his credit including the Lake Ozark Nationals and the Mid West All-Star title.

This is not just a case of a few racers having a good year as there is a long list of winners from Micro Sprints, Midgets and Sprint cars winning with Super Shox on dirt and pavement. The list of champions is a long one as well with Billy Balog winning 8 races in route to his third IRA title in as many years since switching to Super Shox, Mike Hess won 4 races and the Badger championship in the John Callahan prepared car owned by Jerry Hardy. TJ Luedke won 7 races and back to back EWSC titles. Kurt Davis has won 6 races and the MSA and Plymouth championships in the Wisconsin 360 division that has been won by a Super Shox car every year since Doug Schenck won back to back titles in 2003 and 2004. Super Shox cars have dominated the MSA series again in 2010 with 24 feature wins out of the 30 races that were run. Brian Kristan won 9 races running 360 and 410 cars in Wisconsin. Tommy Sexton won 4 races and the Wilmot 410 title. Todd Lehr won 5 races and the Wisconsin Illinois Mini Sprint title to complete the open wheel sweep of Wisconsin for Super Shox. Sam Borden finished the year off with 19 feature wins, 20 fastimes and the 600 upright points championship at Bakersfield Raceway in Indiana. Over in Ohio Jimmy Stinson won the OVSCA point title in Billy Jerrell's car. In a the auto cross arena Jeff Cashmore won the SCCA D-Mod Solo National Championship for the third consecutive year with Super Shox.

From coast to coast and around the globe in Australia and New Zealand more racers are winning with Super Shox every year. If your looking to improve your racing program you need to look at Super Shox! No hype, no bull and no fast talking sales guy just a great product with great service and support. Super Shox racer Sammy Swindell was oh so close to victory in the Knoxville Nationals final. Swindell who lead every lap up until the 45th when Schatz pulled a slider in 4 to lead the lap then Sammy charged back by to take the lead into turn one and pulled away from his closest competition only to have the left rear tire blow in turn four on the 47th lap. That was the heart breaking end to a near perfect nationals week with a second place finish in the 360 nationals and a win at Oskaloosa after a fierce battle with Tyler Walker who has also made the switch to Super Shox then in Thursdays nights qualifier where Sammy went out last and qualified 10th then came from last to first in his heat and lead every lap of the A-main to take the win.

Other Super Shox racers cleaned up in Wisconsin on Saturday with Brian Kristan taking the win in the 410 class and Todd Lehr winning the mini sprint race at Wilmot and Kurt Davis took the MSA win at Plymouth.

Sammy Swindell takes the checkers at Oskaloosa to become the events first back to back winner. Tyler Walker who just got his set of Super Shox nearly won the match race against Joey Saldana who won by a small margin at the line after a two lap side by side battle. In the A-Main Tyler lead the first 21 laps with Sammy close behind until Tyler's left rear got cut down then Sammy drove away from the field and went unchallenged to take the win.

Sammy has been fast and getting faster as the Nationals approach as have many other Super Shox racers such as Billy Balog in the IRA, TJ Luedke and Brian Kristan who both have been regular visitors to victory lane in MSA competition. New to Super Shox is Tyler Walker who has stated "the car feels amazing", "best my car has ever been!" and his performance at Oskaloosa backs up those statements.

Super Shox have what every racer needs and that is a quality shock program with adjustability to tune the car and top of the line customer service. From micro sprints and midgets to sprint cars on dirt or pavement Super Shox has a solution to your shock needs.

Sammy Swindell got the month off to a great start by setting a new Knoxville 360 track record at 15.819 and then went on to win the Masters Classic. Sammy also won at Dodge City Kansas and has been on the podium regularly this month with the Outlaws. Brian Kristan knocked off four wins in June to make it six in a row with his 360 car and nearly made it seven but ended up second at Plymouth with the IRA to end the month and the win streak. Joey Moughan has back to back wins at Jacksonville IL this month with his Super Shox. Jerrod Hull finished the month with two wins in two nights. The first with the IRA at Kankakee on the 25th then on the 26th he won at St. Francois MO. May 26th, 2010

With the racing season in full swing racers with Super Shox have been racking up top finishes this year. Starting with Kevin Swindell's win at the Chili Bowl and continuing on with Micros, Mini Sprints, 305, 360 and 410 Sprint Cars with and without wings. Several drivers have multiple wins already this year with the master himself Sammy Swindell on top with four feature wins after completely decimating the field at Knoxville Saturday night with fast time, a heat race win and a run from the back to first in 12 laps after a spin and flat tire on lap one that put him to the rear.

Jerrod Hull who made the switch to Super Shox has registered three feature wins and three second place finishes after making the switch to Super Shox this year. "The car is so stable and consistent and I can drive it so much harder with these shox" commented Jerrod after his first feature win with Super Shox.
Kurt Davis has made the trip to victory lane twice in MSA competition and has been a threat to win every night right along with TJ Luedke who also has two MSA features to his credit. Al Schlafer is the only other racer to win a MSA feature so far this year making it five Super Shox wins and six for the weather.

Chris Windom has won twice and been racing for the top spot nearly every night out in Jeff Walkers car and it is only a matter of time before this duo begins winning a bunch of races. "We have been good in the slick and on the rough tacky places too these shox are awesome" commented Jeff Walker after another strong run at Kokomo.

Justin Grant has improved his performance by switching to Super Shox and has been running at the front of the pack and looking for his first win on his new Super Shox. "I love these shox they make the car feel so stable and consistent. I have been able to run in the corner and have the confidence that the car will go where I want it too. Since putting these shox on we have not had a ill handling car yet" commented Justin after his 4th race on his Super Shox.

Super Shox is not your typical shock company we design, manufacture assemble and test in house to deliver high quality shocks. By working closely with some of the best racers in the business we have developed a shock that you will be able to feel the difference by just bolting them on. These shox will change your car and after using them for a few nights you will begin to dial in the rest of your car to unlock the hidden potential it has. Four Chili Bowl racers with Super Shox finish in the top 15 in Saturdays A-Main. Topping the list is Kevin Swindell with the win and Sammy who finished in third after a thrilling drive from last in 30 laps. Mike Hess who started in 22nd raced his way to seventh by passing high and low and Daniel Adler finished in 15th after starting 21st.

Kevin slid back with a loose race car at the start to seventh but soon made adjustments to his Super Shox and by lap 24 was in the lead and opening up a sizeable advantage as the race track began to get slick. That is about the same time Sammy and Mike Hess started their drive to the front with Sammy leading the way Hess followed close behind as two weaved thru traffic as the laps wond down.

Super Shox has the advantage racers are looking for with standard valved shocks starting at $179.00 to single and double adjustable shocks we have the shocks you need to win races with.

Three of the top 15 on Super Shox at the Wednesday Chili Bowl

Kevin Swindell made his first trip down Chili Bowl lane glory Wednesday night by winning the feature and setting himself up for a good starting spot on Saturday night. As the night went on the track got a little wider and slicker but still had enough of a cushion for Kevin to use. With spot on driving and a good set up he wheeled around the indoor track perfectly for 25 laps to take the win.

Finishing in sixth spot was Daniel Adler from Illinois who patiently worked the bottom of the track to the checkered flag. Adler stayed right on the berm around the corners and was able to get good drive off to stay up front.

Shane Cockrum finished in the 14th spot and was turning lap times comparable to the leaders but was caught in Chili Bowl traffic for most of the 25 laps.

All drivers reported that their cars felt great and that they used their adjustable Super Shox to their advantage to dial in their set up to suit the track and their line.

Super Shox give the car a whole different feel by controlling every motion of the car. The car has more stability and grip that give the drivers the feel that they need to race for wins.

Sammy Swindell is always a threat to win at any track in any car at anytime and that is exactly what he has been doing lately with the Tom Rolfe 360 sprint car. With strong runs in every race Sammy has had a little bit of unfortunate luck and not been able to finish but that has changed now and he has knocked off three feature wins in a row. Starting with a win last week at his home track in West Memphis at Riverside Speedway with the USCS he finished second in the first of two twin 25's and won the second one from the last row after the full invert. This week he took the Tom Rolfe car to Tucson to race with the ASCS Lucas Oil Series and made a clean sweep winning his heat and feature on Thursday then capped the weekend off with a win in Saturdays final.
Tim Keading who has been hot in 360 action with two wins at Watsonville California in October and the Trophy Cup at Tulare in the Roth 83 car. This week the team made the trip over to Tucson to collect another feature win in Fridays preliminary race then led opening nine laps of Saturdays race and finished a close second to Sammy after a terrific race long battle that saw the two Super Shox cars distance themselves from the field to fight for the win.
Darren Long has also found victory lane this year at Eldora and Limaland with the NRA 360 series after making the switch to Super Shox. TJ Luedke took top honors this year in 360 racing with the MSA and EWSC with championships in both to go along with his 6 feature wins in Wisconsin.

In 360 racing it is all about car set up and driver which make sense why cars with Super Shox are winning the big 360 races. Super Shox are able to give the driver the confidence he needs to drive thru the heavy rough stuff and the feel to pass in the black. The bottom line is this if you don't have Super Shox you are probably following a car that does so call us now to find out how you can get into the lead with Super Shox.

Sammy Super Shox Them

Sammy Swindell made good use of his Super Shox and came back after a rough qualifying night to win the Friday night A-Main and set a new 20 lap record in the process. Sammy was a man on a mission and when Sammy gets in the zone he is at a level that very few if any can match. After starting nineth he steadily moved his way to the front and took the lead on lap 15 then distanced himself from the field to take the win in the non-stop 20 lapper. Swindell started the week out with a win on Monday at Oskaloosa then had mechanical problems on Wednesday night but came back strong on Friday and promised to run the wheels off it to get into the A-Main on Saturday. With Swindell's two wins and Tim Keading's on Thursday make it three out of four for the week for a car with Super Shox. Sammy and Tim both feel the difference Super Shox make and choose to run Super Shox because of the advantage that the shox give them so call today to get the same advantage these guy's have.

Congratulations to Tim Keading and Roth Motorsports team on their A-Main victory at Knoxville on Thursday night. Tim started the night qualifying nineth then in the fourth heat he made a nice run from seventh to third to make the transfer into the A-Main. After that Tim quickly shot around the slick 1/2 mile lapping cars and distancing himself by nearly a half lap on the second place car to take the win on the hard dry surface.

KEVIN SWINDELL CAPTURES AUSTRALIAN SPEEDCAR CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Making his Australian debut at Murray Bridge Speedway in South Australia , American Kevin Swindell not only captured the Speedcar National Title race, but also did so in convincing fashion.

Driving for Barry and Steven Graham, and sponsored by Richard Petty Driving Experience, Super Shox, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions, and Valvoline, with Hawk power, Swindell absolutely put on a driving clinic.

With a tough format of four qualifying races to run, Kevin finished an amazing first, second, first, and first, plus won two pole scramble events to earn the front row starting position.  At the drop of the green flag in the Title race, it was all Swindell, leading the entire distance, lapping cars and getting an impressive victory over the top Australian and American drivers.

“We were so excited to have Kevin come to Australia ,” said Graham.  “It’s hard to imagine there could be a more perfect two days of racing than Kevin had.  This is such an important race for us, rich in the history of Australian Motorsports.  To be only 19, he was just incredible.”

“I was honored to be asked to drive for the Graham’s and Richard Petty Driving Experience.  Steven won this race in 2005, and I am so happy to be able to bring the car owner championship back to them.  The car was perfect each time we went out, and it let me drive wherever I needed to pass cars.  It was an awesome event,” said Kevin.

Australian press called him “fast”, “patient”, and “perfect”.  With the song “Born in the USA ” blasting in the background, Swindell was crowned the 2009 Australian Speedcar Champion!

Swindell dominates Chili Bowl

Sammy Swindell once again proved to be to tough to beat in the Chili Bowl. The week started out on Tuesday for Sammy where he raced from the pole and was never challenged for the lead and went on to win the first ever Chili Bowl race of Champions. Sammy's qualifying night was on Wednesday which started with a heat race win from the sixth position. Once again in his qualifying race Sammy started in the sixth position and went on to win that race as well. In the A-Main Sammy started on the front row and never looked back as he held a commanding lead for the whole race and crossed the checkered flag first. Not only was Sammy never passed no compeditor even came close to setting up a pass in the four times he took to the track on Tuesday and Wednesday. When the A-Main on Saturday started Sammy was in the third position until lap 10 when a slight push by Tracy Hines allowed Sammy to slip by and take the second spot but only for a short time when Hines would get the position back on the next lap making him the first car to pass Sammy. After another slip up Levi Jones was able to get by but what the other racers did not know was that the race was playing right into the hads of the master then on lap 30 Sammy made a adjustment to his Super Shox to free up the car a bit and he then within two laps he was in the lead and checking out. Thru the remaining laps Sammy was able to open up a sizable lead on every restart and sliced thru the lap traffic with ease. Sammy used his Super Shox to give him the winning edge and put himself in the zone and when Sammy gets there forget about nobody will come close.

Other Super Shox racer Kevin Swindell was in position to lead the A-Main on Tuesday night when unfortunate contact with another car sent him into the wall. Kevin would then make a nice run from the D-main into the B-Main on Saturday where he got the car over the heavy cushion and sustained enough damage to end his night. Tim Siner, Austin Brown and Kellen Conover all had good runs in their qualifying nights and features on Saturday as well.

Swindell, Schuerenburg, Balog and Nigg win with Super Shox

Sammy Swindell made a rare visit to Placerville Saturday night driving the Tom Rolfe Trucking #10, it has been 16-years since Sammy last raced at Placerville Speedway and he was sure to make it a memorable one. Swindell started deep in the field Saturday, lining up in the 11th position for the 25-lap feature event. With one lap complete he drove his way into the top 10 and three laps later made his way to sixth at one point passing two cars at the same time. Once in the fourth position, he remained there until lap 22 when he raced into third and then second one lap later. With 24-laps complete, Swindell drove into the fourth corner and slid below Colby Wiesz to pass for the lead just as a red flag came out. The restart set the stage for a classic scenario with the best of the west attempting to hold off one of the best in the world for the win on his hometown track. With the fans on their feet for the two lap sprint to the finish. The green flag flew, Wiesz moved to the bottom where Swindell had been running well and Swindell shot to the top of turns one and two and powered his way around Wiesz for the lead and his first win on the action packed bull ring. Sammy has been racing with Super Shox for 11 years now and carries a set with him where ever he goes. To Sammy the shox are as important as a driving suit and helmet!

Hunter Schuerenburg driving the Jeff Walker #11 sprinter won the MSCS feature at Twin Cities Raceway Saturday night in thrilling fashion. Hunter took the lead on the 12th lap from Hud Cone then on the 25th lap Brady Short made a strong run off of turn four to pull up next to Hunter but Hunter was able to keep the lead as the two crossed the line side by side for the win. Sunday night the team won at Kokomo making it two in a row at Kokomo and three wins in three races for the Walker team. At the beginning of the year Walker needed a driver and saw what he was looking for in Schuerenburg since then the two have nine wins this season including a Indiana sprint week win at Haubstadt. Hunter immediately felt comfortable in the #11 car with Super Shox and has been able to run in places where no other car dare to go!

Billy Balog extended his IRA points lead with a win at Rice Lake Wisconsin in front of a packed grandstand. At the drop of the green flag Scott Winters shot into the lead as Balog and Biertzer raced hard for the second spot until lap five when Balog cleared Biertzer. After a lap nine yellow flag Balog and Bierzer shot around Winters on the restart and Balog came out of turn two in the lead and never looked back as he sliced and diced his way thru lap traffic to earn his second IRA win of the season. At the end of the 2007 season at Plymouth Billy tried out a set of Super Shox and immediately felt the difference and has been fast all year with two wins on the season and leading the IRA points.

In micro sprint action by the time Adam Nigg raced into the second spot the leader had opened up a half lap lead. Within four laps Nigg was in position to take the lead and did just that then went unchallenged to take the win on his first night with Super Shox. After the race Adam commented how he made a two click adjustment to the left rear and could feel the difference. He was most impressed how the car felt even though the Super Shox have the same valving numbers as his old shocks the car feels so much smoother and drivable.

In TechSquad MSA 360 Sprints Al Schlafer lead all 25 laps at the Antigo 1/2 mile in Wisconsin to take the win using his double adjustable Super Shox. Other Super Shox racers Kurt Davis and Danny Schlafer finish in 4th and 5th place.

Kertcher and Davis take sprint car wins in Wisconsin

Mike Kertcher took to the track in his Jeff Robinson prepared Captain Jim's 410 wing sprint car with the IRA Sprints at Wilmot speedway Friday night in front of a pack grandstand on hand for the Kenosha County fair night. Winning his heat race in dominating fashion set him up in the redraw for the A-main. Starting the A-main on the front row Mike drove the 80K car low thru turn 1 to slide up in front of leader Scott Biertzer only to have Biertzer make the pass back then Kertcher put another slide job on Scott in turn three and that one stuck as Biertzer was unable to turn down and drive back by. Mike held on to a commanding lead for the remainder of the event as the packed grandstand stood on their feet to see all of the action. In victory lane Kertcher credited the win to his team stating that Jeff Robinson is the best chassis guy in the area and keeps the car dialed in with Super Shox and Joe Roe who keeps the strong Kistler engine tuned to perfection as the team is really hitting its stride while only running a limited schedule.

On Saturday the IRA moved to Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam where Kertcher went unchallenged in his heat race to win and again make it into the IRA redraw for the A-Main this time starting inside of row four Mike waited patiently thru the first couple of starts then began his charge to the front keeping pace with Brooke Tatnell. Soon the Tatnell car was leading and Kertcher was running strong in second. The two darted and weaved thru lap traffic and it looked like Mike had a run on Brooke several times but was unable to make the pass in traffic. Kertcher tried to make a move on Tatnell on the restart near the end of the race but Brooke was too strong on the cushion so Mike followed Tatnell across the finish line in second place finishing off a strong weekend in the Captain Jim's sprinter. In post race interviews Mike again thanked his team for the car and how well it handled the tall cushion and slick track conditions.

Kurt Davis returned to 360 action at the Plymouth dirt track on Saturday night to lead all 25 laps picking up his second win of the season. Lance Fasbender who was on a three race winning streak chased Davis the entire way but was unable to get by Kurt as his Super Shox keep the 6K car hooked up on the Plymouth dirt track bull ring.

Hunter Schuerenburg captured his fifth win of the season at Kokomo speedway Sunday night in the Jeff Walker machine. After starting fourth Hunter worked his way up to second on lap six behind leader Dave Darland while working the low side of the track then on lap 10 he diamond off of turn four to take the lead. Once in the lead he checked out and built up a half lap lead at the checkered flag.

Schuerenberg's First USAC Sprint Car Win

Hunter Schuerenberg capped off a very competitive Indiana Sprint Week with at Tri-State Speedway in his Jeff  Walker prepared sprinter. Hunter started the night off with a strong qualifying lap to put him sixth quick in a very tightly bunched field. Making a pass off of turn four on the last lap of his heat earned the 11 Walker racing machine the pole position for the A-Main. Damion Gardner got the jump from the outside of row one to lead the first couple of laps then Hunter made his move in turn four to take the lead only to have the Demon slide back by in turn two, Hunter countered the move by turning down off the cushion to let the 71 car slide by as the two raced into turn three Hunter began to distance himself from the field. With a caution about every five laps Hunter was able to pull away from the USAC hot shoes to open up a straightaway lead in four laps. As the track began to blow up dust Hunter blazed thru the lap traffic powering off the corners lap after lap to claim his first USAC Sprint car win in front of huge crowd and a large group of family and friends who came to see him race on what is sure to be memorable moment as USAC's best were no match for Hunter this night. Congratulations to Hunter and the Jeff  Walker team from all of us here at Super Shox.

Kristans First IRA Win

Brian Kristan has won many sprint car races with and with out wings in 360's and 410's but this win is extra special since it was his first with the IRA and earlier in the day he learned that in nine months he will be a father. BK started the night out winning his heat easily to transfer into the A-Main. Starting on the pole BK fell in line behind Donny Goeden as the field ran hard against the cushion then he made his move and drove to the bottom of three and four to take the lead. Once in the lead BK distanced himself from the rest of the field leading by as much as a full straightaway at times. Brian was able to run thru lap traffic masterfully and maintain his lead on several restarts that gave Goeden and Balog a chance to make a pass but the caution laps were the only laps that anyone was able to stay close to BK on this night. After the checkered flag waved Brian gave the fans a bonus by doing several doughnuts in front of the grandstand before going to victory lane. Great job and congratulations Brian!

Bill Waller swept up at Devils Bowl winning his heat race and feature on a very dry slick track where his Super Shox kept the tires hooked up. Bill started on the outside of the front row and opened up a comfortable lead and kept his distance from the field. On every restart Bill was able to get good traction and stay out in front to take the checkered flag. Congratulations Bill!
