The Super Shox Difference:

The difference between twin tube shocks like the gold shocks or the black ones or the blue is basically everything. Super Shox are mono-tube gas assist shocks that have significant design advantages:

  • More oil capacity =  Better cooling
  • Larger piston = More control from initial movement to high speed
  • Divided gas chamber = No cavitation
  • All aluminum construction = Light weight
  • Deflective disc valve stack = Precise valvings and repeatability
  • Repairable = Cost savings on damaged shocks
  • Upgradeable = Cost savings when adding adjustment options
  • Revalveable = Cost savings when new shock valvings are desired

The difference between Super Shox and other mono tube gas shocks is in the details:

  • Low seal drag = Better weight transfer on slick tracks
  • Low gas pressure = Better weight transfer on slick tracks
  • 7/16 diameter shaft = Low multiplication of rod pressure
  • Light weight synthetic oil = Fade free consistent results
  • High flow digressive piston = More control with the valve stack
  • Multi stage valve stack = Better weight transfer on slick tracks and high speed control on rough heavy tracks

Super Shox on your car:

  • The same feel from start to finish
  • Stability
  • Repeatability
  • No fade performance over the course of the race
  • The driver will notice an improved feel for the car
  • More consistency and stability
  • Higher driver confidence
  • Better driver input
  • Ability to dial in the car quicker
  • Able to run where other cars cannot

Other Super Shox Advantages:

  • Lower repair cost
  • Excellent customer service and support
  • Quick turnaround on repairs
  • Long shock life
  • Lifetime valving guarantee

What drivers say about Super Shox:

  • The car feels like it is in slow motion but really fast
  • I can feel the rear tires gripping the track
  • The car feels very stable
  • The car felt the same from start to finish
  • I can feel the car change with every shock adjustment

Our Focus:

We strive to be the best at delivering a quality product that will have significant value to the racer not only with on track performance but also make sense financially. We realize that our customers have a budget and that is why we have developed a product that will last for many years. Further more to keep costs down on repairs we have a fixed labor rate for shock service that way you know what to expect and it is always the same. We also realize that your shox are only a benefit to you on your race car so we get the repair work done and back to you before you need it next. If your looking for specific valving parameters we will build it for you.

Our Philosophy:

A shock that has superior performance, a longer life span and is completely rebuildable has more value than a low quality cheap throw away shock.  The initial cost may be slightly higher, but when you factor in performance, longevity, durability and return on investment... SUPER SHOX has the best shock for sprint cars, midgets, micro sprints and late models today!

Our Product and Service:

These are not mass produced imported shocks repackaged to be sold as racing shocks but they are specifically engineered for Sprint car, Midget and Late Model racing. All of our parts are machined in house from billet materials to tight tolerances that ensure a precise and long lasting product. We hand assemble and dyno test each shock to meet our strict specifications so that all of our customers receive a high quality shock. Our repair department gets your broken shock back together and working perfectly for typically 20-50% of the cost of a new shock and back to you before your next race! Because of our attention to detail and commitment to build the highest quality shock we are the only shock company to back up our product with a lifetime valving quaranty. What this means is if you ever think that a shock is not performing as it should be then send it in and we will check it and make sure that it is.

Our Shafts:

For our Sprint car and Midget shocks we use a 7/16 diameter shaft to reduce rod pressure and keep rod pressure multiplication low. To be able to use a 7/16 shaft takes careful attention to detail and proper metallurgical processing to ensure shaft strength and flexibility. Super Shox have also strengthened the weakest point of the shaft at the end of the threads with a special jam nut that prevents the shaft from breaking at this location. Thus resulting in a shaft that has high strength, better fexibility (can be bent father and return to a straight condition) high hardness and a polished chrome plated surface for low seal drag and rust prevention. Truly the best of both worlds to allow a mono-tube gas shock work on light weight dirt cars.
